RAPTOR® Composite finish nails, brads and staples are used in marine and boatbuilding applications for two reasons: RAPTOR® fasteners can be cut or sanded, and, RAPTOR® fasteners will not contribute to galvanic corrosion or electrolysis since they are completely non-metal.

STRIP PLANKING
Utilize the RAPTOR® 15Ga finish nails or the 18Ga brad nails to secure wood strips to the frame of the hull or to the next strip during the cure/set cycle.
COLD MOLDING
Utilize the RAPTOR® S/05 staples or the 18Ga brad nails to secure layered veneers onto a base layer of strip planking or additional veneer layers.
FIBERGLASS LAYUP
Utilize the RAPTOR® 19Ga staples to hold sheets of fiberglass in place during the resin infusion process.
FOAM CORE JOINING
Utilize the Copula fastener to join and hold foam core materials together to ensure a tight, smooth interface.
